Writer~Teacher~Poet
Naomi Bindman has published poetry and prose in magazines, literary journals and anthologies. They won Dogwood Journal’s 2023 Creative Nonfiction Award and received funding from the Vermont Arts Council and Vermont Humanities Council. Naomi earned her BA from Dartmouth College, and her Master’s from Harvard University.
Naomi’s memoir, You’re the Words I Sing, currently on submission with major publishers, tells the story of her journey back to life performing the songs of her seventeen year old daughter, Ellen, whose life ended in a car crash. A film based on the memoir is in active development with a leading Hollywood company Scenario Entertainment.
